Where?

I stand there. Frozen. Solid. The world around me squeezes in, getting tighter every moment. I breathe. The air is thick and clammy. My head starts to fall; down, down, down. 

There is light coming in the distance. I see that now I have woken. I breathe a sigh of relief. It is only then I realise. This isn't my cave. I'm lying on the fresh, white sheets of a hospital bed. Who found me? How did I get here?

    I think this an excellent piece Sarah! There's a good twist at the end and I like your finishing rhetorical questions. I think the semi colon shouldn't be there and it should just be a standard space.
