You are invited to write a short story on any subject which will then be considered for publication in a regional anthology.
80 words or less! Stories must be no more than 80 words.
Tell a great story! And make it complete: there must be a beginning, middle and end.
Be original! By all means be inspired by something you've read/seen, but your story must bring a fresh perspective and not be simply a retelling.
There's a free bookmark for every entrant, a certificate of achievement for every pupil accepted for publication and the chance to win £1,000 for our school! (Am I using too many exclamation marks? Elmore Leonard would say so! Sorry - Elmore Leonard would say so.)
